Nerviouso.

So I am freaking out a bit right now because I have been trying to pull everything together to get it so I can stay here next semester. I already dropped my GW housing for next semester, I got my status changed here so I am on year long status now, all I have left to do is get the okay from the study abroad office and they just need a letter from my major advisor to say its okay. So I sent a letter to a teacher at my school whom I really respect hoping he could help me out, he responded quickly but here is response to my request:

"As I said, I'm willing to sign off on this. But, any reluctance you
read into this is really there. I'm only willing to sign off on this
because I believe that students must make these decisions for
themselves. That said, and since you asked, I'm far from being
convinced that this is a good idea."

The biggest problem is that I have not taken History of Modern philosophy, which is a foundational class for most other class' that I will need to take. It is also only being offered in the spring so I would have to take it at the same time I take my senior seminar. I also cant take it during the summer here because I have no summer break, I have three months in the winter and no one offers class' then. I may be able to take it at another school in fall but I don't think GT offers it in the fall either, and I really dont think I would be able to make it out ot AU, GM, or Catholic two days a week. It just wouldnt happen. I am waiting back now to hear from the professor if he thinks there is any way around it. I might be goosed. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK. On a positive note I am at least in the right place if I have to learn how to commit seppuku for my return back to GW.
