New years.

This New years was definitely gave me a lot to think about. I woke up this morning and my stomach feels like that laundry cycle, not the spin or rinse cycle but the one where the machine just shakes back and forth in violent herky jerky motions. I think it was a mixture of cheap beer, Matt D's homemade moonshine, and a lot of cheese and crackers. Plus god knows what else I consumed that night night while intoxicated. Anyways driving home today I was thinking of a lot of things besides the state of my insides. The night was a big shock seeing people that I have not seen for half a year to a couple full years. I was definitely curious about a lot of the people that showed before then and it was shocking for me to see some of them after either the speculation I put into how they would be or the complete lack of thought creating a startling effect due to their randomness of appearance. It's funny people like these I know there is no chance to have any kind of interaction beyond the small talk due to instrumentation of the situation.
I like new years a lot mostly for the fact you can wish people a happy new years and genuinely mean it. Happy holidays is a bullshit term, and merry Christmas no matter how I say it always feels like its bullshit coming from a large Jew. Happy new years is that perfect phrase that makes people happy to hear and one can say to anyone they feel like, from a good friend, to a heavily medicated guy posted up next to the salsa bar at Baja Fresh.
Oh and Happy New Years everyone reading this site. (all two of you)
