Mexico.

I just got back yesterday from my cruise on the Princess Sapphire. Already I leave tomorrow. The cruise consisted of 2 days on the boat out to Mexico then three days at different Mexican ports and then 2 more days back on the boat. First the Mexican ports were awesome, the first day in Mexico we spent with my uncle and his family plus his girlfriends family at their villa. It was located adjacent to where predator the movie was filmed. I swear I saw something in the trees. We had many mixed drinks and laid out on the beach, then I got real cut up on some rocks but was pretty buzzed so didn't mind. I was way covered in blood. I looked like a torture victim. I just rubbed some sand on it and I was fine though. The next day in Mazetlan, we took a tour of a tequila factory. It was good to learn where that stuff comes from and the samples were definitely enhancing the experience. My brother Josh made some poor buying decision and had to wear a hat of shame because of it. The next day in Cabo san lucas I went jetskiiing with Mike. It was exhilaratingly freakin awesome. They must not have some safety rules in Mexico or something because he said the motors could got up to 55mph I don't know if that's cool in the US. It was damn fast. I got some crazy air, and felt like what god must feel like when he is on a jet ski. Also highlight of cabo was my brother asking random people on the street where he could buy some fireworks and also where there was strip clubs. Good times.
Next the boat. It was huge. It had like 6 restaurants you sit down at including a steak house which was really good. Plus there was a buffet which was open 24 hours a day. This buffet would also change every two hours or so. You could eat a breakfast then a brunch then a lunch then a late afternoon meal then a dinner and so on. The gorging I saw and participated in at that buffet was disturbing to say the least. Dear god the cocktail shrimp alone. More on the gorging people later. There were also multiple pools/jacuzzis, internet, nightclubs, a gym, theater, casino, and a fiesta arcade which just must be code word for a giant hydraulic door that is closed at all times. The casino was fun played a bunch of blackjack and ended out coming off the boat with some money. There was also live music on the boat provided by a one man band. This man's name was Pat Funk, yup. Terrible. The shows on the boat were also an experience. Our room was a little cramped since it was me and my brothers and there were two beds and bunk bed, but we had a beautiful ocean view balcony , and room service was free 24 hours.
Finally I get to the other boat passengers. They ranged from middle aged to old mostly. There were also couples and a few under agged folk. Lots of land monsters on this ship and boy did they love the buffet. I was in the elevator numerous times with a person who was struggling for air, and trust me they didn't just run anywhere. Also not all were the brightest bulbs. During one of the activities a who wants to be a millionaire rip off, a woman didn't know which continent the Appalachians were in and she was given pretty obvious choices. That was just the tip of the embarrassing missed questions. There were some pretty funny looking people, like Kenny Rogers guy, two picture woman, thick stach Iranian dude, circus ringmaster, and many others. I had a lot of time on the boat.
Mostly ate, read, slept, gambled, and ate some more. Relaxing and pretty quality trip overall.
