Instant Yakiudon is good stuff.

So in an effort to update a little more frequently I am writing an entry even though nothing especially incredible has been going on. Last week I think I went out drinking five out off the seven nights, there was cheap beers at iikyu with Paulos and Anthony, there was first Monday for summer students at hana no maie with Yuuji, Mii, Seth, Blood and Anthony, Wingmaning for Lars at Hana no maie again, Y’s bar of course followed by all night karaoke and some other stuff. It was a good week but after the last two weekends I was dead by Saturday, but still made it to the Hobby show with Anth and Karen, at the Makuhari Messe. There was a big arena to promote some team handball anime, robots playing cards with kids, Katamari 2 and the King of the Universe, Kids battling scarab robots and much more craziness.
Sunday finally got in contact with Mukai, met up with the robot himself, his bro, Pauro, Sarah B, Sarah W, and Courtney. Was good to see the whole crew been a while since I have seen Mukai, and even longer since I saw Courtney and the two Sarah. We walked around Ginza which I always think has way sweet buildings, dare I even call them diabetic?... Anyway… we then went to Shibuya, where pauro is known to spend up to $30,000 in one night on shoes alone, we found one of the many izakaiyas and had a few drinks. It was pretty smoky, started back up my whooping cough, and loud but still fun, and nice to sit on the floor. We then parted ways, overall a fun night and Courtney was wearing a great mini skirt which is always appreciated. Hopefully I’ll meet up with Mukai and co. again in the next few days this prob tomorrow since I’m gonna ditch my only class tomorrow, and then this weekend is Fuji trip which should be full of a adequate amount of raucus. Oh, but in the unfortunate news, my camera broke something in the opening mechanism which I think can be fixed but until I find out no pictures for a while, sucks to that. I really wish at these times I had a sweet 3.2 mp DoCoMo phone instead of my shitty .32mp AU by KDDI phone, oh well…

Disney Sea.

OOooookay, so I just realized its been a long time since I have written anything here. Its partly due to laziness but mostly due to being incredibly busy. Now I know I only wrote about my first day in Okinawa and then never had any follow up posts but I've come to grips with the fact the rest of the trip report is not going to come, so you should to. Now that we got that all worked out I guess Ill just jump right into last weekend. It started off with Friday, the welcome dinner for the new summer IES kids at MTG 22 floor at a restaurant called にんにく. Food was way good, kids are way weird, some of the girls are cute though (I know its strange IES actually gets some cute girls, Im scared too). Afterwards me and Anth hit up Kareoke with 4 of the new girls, my friend Minami and another Kanda student Yuki. It was pretty fun but Anthony got the party started all by himself by imbibing a bottle of nikka. Strangely enough he sobered up enough to walk all those girls back to their hotel. Saturday was bball all day was way fun then jumped in the shower and met up with Minami, Sayaka, and Alex. We bought a grip of food and went back to Minamis mansion to cook it all. The menu was kareage made by Sayaka and Minami, Okonomiyaki made by me and Minami, and Pineapple upside down cake made by Alex. I wont bore you with the details of the night but I was way tired when I had to wake up at 7 on Sunday. I had to wake up so early because I was meeting a crew at Maihama to go to DISNEY SEA. I went with Eric, Nick, Zack, Kanae, Maiyu, Tomoko, and Aiyu. Kanae works at a disney store so she got us a discount on the tickets, actually I think she just bought us all junior tickets but either way it was mad cheap. She also it turns out is a Disney maniac and had been to one of the disneys every other month or so. She new exactly where to go in what order and we never had to wait longer then 15 minutes for a ride or show. I channeled my inner "mikey" and had a crazy good time. Too much weirdness there though. I am pretty sure japanese people love disneyland so much because it gives them all an open venue to wear stupid hats, and we know how much they love their stupid hats. Anyways Disney sea was beautiful and fun, and very different from the regular disneyland, especially since it was chaulked full of japanese weirdness. Today I finally caught up on sleep but I think I was poisoned by some water I drank from the tap at the sketch gym my vollyball circle meets at Monday night, so I am going to pass out again soon and try to fight off any kind of sickness before the weekend. Pictured above is the crazy calestenics/dance that the whole, I mean everyone, entire audience did at the outdoor Aladin water show.
