Why I can't have nice things.

Well I was sitting around the dorm room staring at my unpacked bag, when I started thinking of all the things over the years that I no longer had due to my brother. I don't want to bitch or anything but I started thinking about one thing and then the other things started to snow ball. So without further adieu here is a list of things I no longer have due to my brother Mike. (My brother is not a bad guy)
Broken items:
Swingers DVD
Made DVD
Family Guy season 2 DVD (disks 1,2, and 3)
The Office Season 1 DVD
The Office Season 2 DVD (I will probably rebuy these, I need my fix of David Brent)
Large ceramic rooster from mexico (a.k.a. the proudest looking rooster in the world)
Childhood pig bank (it had one green eye and one blue eye, spooky but full of quarters)
My Zildjian 18' custom dark ride cymbal
Countless CD's

Items he took and sold:
My five piece Rogers drum set, crash and high hat cymbals, double bass pedal, and other hardware.

I think everyone should take a moment right now and just think of the random stuff their siblings have broke in the over the years. And if you don't have a sibling than think of the stuff you broke but blamed on someone else because you were shamed at not having a sibling.

Mexico.

I just got back yesterday from my cruise on the Princess Sapphire. Already I leave tomorrow. The cruise consisted of 2 days on the boat out to Mexico then three days at different Mexican ports and then 2 more days back on the boat. First the Mexican ports were awesome, the first day in Mexico we spent with my uncle and his family plus his girlfriends family at their villa. It was located adjacent to where predator the movie was filmed. I swear I saw something in the trees. We had many mixed drinks and laid out on the beach, then I got real cut up on some rocks but was pretty buzzed so didn't mind. I was way covered in blood. I looked like a torture victim. I just rubbed some sand on it and I was fine though. The next day in Mazetlan, we took a tour of a tequila factory. It was good to learn where that stuff comes from and the samples were definitely enhancing the experience. My brother Josh made some poor buying decision and had to wear a hat of shame because of it. The next day in Cabo san lucas I went jetskiiing with Mike. It was exhilaratingly freakin awesome. They must not have some safety rules in Mexico or something because he said the motors could got up to 55mph I don't know if that's cool in the US. It was damn fast. I got some crazy air, and felt like what god must feel like when he is on a jet ski. Also highlight of cabo was my brother asking random people on the street where he could buy some fireworks and also where there was strip clubs. Good times.

Next the boat. It was huge. It had like 6 restaurants you sit down at including a steak house which was really good. Plus there was a buffet which was open 24 hours a day. This buffet would also change every two hours or so. You could eat a breakfast then a brunch then a lunch then a late afternoon meal then a dinner and so on. The gorging I saw and participated in at that buffet was disturbing to say the least. Dear god the cocktail shrimp alone. More on the gorging people later. There were also multiple pools/jacuzzis, internet, nightclubs, a gym, theater, casino, and a fiesta arcade which just must be code word for a giant hydraulic door that is closed at all times. The casino was fun played a bunch of blackjack and ended out coming off the boat with some money. There was also live music on the boat provided by a one man band. This man's name was Pat Funk, yup. Terrible. The shows on the boat were also an experience. Our room was a little cramped since it was me and my brothers and there were two beds and bunk bed, but we had a beautiful ocean view balcony , and room service was free 24 hours.

Finally I get to the other boat passengers. They ranged from middle aged to old mostly. There were also couples and a few under agged folk. Lots of land monsters on this ship and boy did they love the buffet. I was in the elevator numerous times with a person who was struggling for air, and trust me they didn't just run anywhere. Also not all were the brightest bulbs. During one of the activities a who wants to be a millionaire rip off, a woman didn't know which continent the Appalachians were in and she was given pretty obvious choices. That was just the tip of the embarrassing missed questions. There were some pretty funny looking people, like Kenny Rogers guy, two picture woman, thick stach Iranian dude, circus ringmaster, and many others. I had a lot of time on the boat.

Mostly ate, read, slept, gambled, and ate some more. Relaxing and pretty quality trip overall.

Wint Brek.

I have been on winterbreak for a couple weeks now. I was sick and comatose for some of it, I was lazy for other times, I did a crap load of driving other times. Mostly though it was GOOD times. When I went to see walk the line a woman ask me to hold the seats next to me while she walked down the aisle to the seat in a half empty theater. Saw five minutes of The family Stone and then threw up into my mouth a little. Played Initial D at a fun zone. Saw some cracked out long hair old rocker dude wearing leather pants and sunglasses at two different locales. Played a lot of psp, watched some movies, been reading the new George Carlin book which is painfully bad with a few spots of funny. Went to a Ramen Ya and had some decent ramen. Ate some in and out. Jamed at the guys jam band, while enjoying these awesome little bread cheese things that Danny the bass players mom made. Drove to Garden Grove today which is in the OC and does suck real hard. Pretty much just rambling at this point. I leave Saturday to Mehiko, where I will be with the family on a boat for 7 days and then I return to DC. In the mean time I need to find a job for next year find a better job for next semester and mess around with my classes. Probably all of that is going to get done because I am a very non procrastinating person.
